A big thank you to each one of you that has subscribed to my blog! It seriously means so much to me.
I'm just as thrilled at having 50 followers than Molly Shannon was on SNL for being 50 years old. Don't know what I'm talking about? Watch the video below.
Oh and to get the sense of what I mean just change the words to:
"Ladies and Gentlemen my name is Allie from This Yellow House. I'm proud to say I have FIFTY followers. I'm not one of those gals that like to hide their followers, I'll say it out loud. I like to blog, craft, and BLOG! I've got FIFTY, fifty followers! Fifty followers!"
So as a thank you to those who followed me, I've decided to give away a $25 gift certificate to JC Penneys. Just to clarify, JC Penney's did not sponsor or endorse this giveaway. I love shopping at JC Penney's home department for curtains, sheets, towels, and a bunch of other stuff. So I thought my readers would like shopping there too.
It's an e-gift card, so that means they will email it to me, I forward it to the winner's email, the winner will then print it out and use it at the store.
To enter is really simple. You just use the raffle copter below and answer the question on what you would buy if you won it. You will get an additional entry if you tweet about this giveaway.
It is not a requirement to follow or subscribe to This Yellow House, but if you would like to I would LOVE that and plus you will be able to check back to see if you won. You can find the Google Friend Connect option on the right.
You can also subscribe to my blog, follow me on twitter, or follow me on Pinterest using the buttons below if you would like.
And just an update on me and my foot: I'm happy to say it's finally getting a lot better and I'm starting to walk hop around the house. I wanted to paint my living room this week but my husband was like "Seriously? You're barely walking!" . And he is right. So I might try for it this weekend instead. I hope my foot will be much better by then! My sweet husband did go and buy me some supplies for a Pinterest project I've been wanting to do. So I get to do that today and I'll try to post it by tomorrow.
Congratulations on your 50 followers - now it looks like 66 with me included! Come and see me and comment for my greeting cards giveaway! pattyspthings.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteThank you! And thanks for following! I'll be sure to check out your giveaway too :-)
DeleteCongrats on your 50! Now onto new heights!!! Thanks for the opportunity to enter. Sorry I'm not on Twitter so I just entered once. Love your blog and its given me inspiration to look at my rooms one at a time...
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
DeleteCongrats on your 50 followers :). Btw, I saw you note something about "hopping" about the house. I'm inquiring about your possible injury as I have been non-weight bearing since June 22nd when I broke my right foot. I am not enjoying it. I'm glad I came across your blog. New things to look at are very important right now. I can't wait to check everything out. Heal quickly.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Aww that stinks about breaking your foot! It is so frustrating not to be able to get around easily. I cut the bottom of my foot really badly. Thankfully it is a lot better now but I'm having to be really careful because the way it was cut I was not able to get stiches. So the doctor told me not to walk on it so it can heal.
DeleteAnd yes it's nice to have things to look at when your down. I was on bedrest for months with my twins and I would have gone crazy without my tv and computer! I hope your foot heals quickly!
Hi Allie, congrats on your 50 followers and love your spoon mirror! I've nominated you for the Liebster Award! Please go to my site and check out the guidelines.
